Credentials can prove that a given supplier has experience in a specific industry, was able to master comparable challenges in the past and develop and realise adequate solutions in similar situations.
Although credentials help to assess the rational or technical qualification of a service provider it remains difficult to derive any information on the compatibility of your business partner on the inter-personal or social level.
